They had tied the knot yesterday, which they quietly planned among their family and friends. Few details of the wedding: The couple’s godparents are Manila Mayor Joseph Ejercito-Estrada who once played Toni’s father in a film; Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao, whose life was featured in Paul’s recent film “Kid Kulafu”; ABS-CBN executives, Charo Santos-Concio and Gabby Lopez; and Boy Abunda who is Toni’s co-host in the defunct show talk show “The Buzz.” Their wedding took place in a Methodist Church in Taytay, Rizal, where a Christian ceremony was held. Alex Gonzaga, Toni’s only sister, was her maid of honor. Toni’s wedding gown is a design by Vera Wang, which has always been Toni’s dream. She purchased it in the designer’s boutique in Hong Kong since it’s the nearest in Manila. Paul Soriano wwore a Hugo Boss suite. Gary Valenciano sang for the couple. The couple first met each other in Gary V.’s concert in 2006. The couple tapped their favorite chef Jessie Chiong Co to prepare the dishes for their guests at the reception. Wedding planner Rita Neri helped the couple, particularly the bride, in achieving her dream wedding. Gideon Hermosa was the one in charge of the bride’s makeup on her big day. The wedding of Toni and Paul is featured on “Perfect Together: Paul and Toni’s Wedding Special” which aired on Saturday, June 13 in ABS-CBN after “Maalaala Mo Kaya.
